Get an email from Jack out of Akron wanting to know if anyone from our Chapter wanted to join them on the trip down. Below is the information he sent me. Please make sure you call him and let him know if you are going.

If anyone is interested in joining us, here is the information. Deadline for reservations at the Skyline is 1 May.

A group from Akron will be traveling to STAR Days starting on Sat Jul 17th with a stop over in Marlinton, WV, on Sun Jul 18th a stop over in Little Switzerland, NC., arriving sometime on Mon Jul 19th. We will be going part of the way L.A. Ray did in 07, but I have made some changes to pick up some new territory. Here is the telephone numbers of the motels we will be staying at on Sat and Sun.

We will be staying at the Marlinton Motor Inn on Sat evening 304 799 4711
The Marlinton has a restaurant which serves both dinner and breakfast.

Sun evening 18 Jul we will be staying at the Skyline Village Inn 828 994 0027.
You can only book at the Skyline via phone, the whole Inn is blocked for STAR members.
