It'll be a ride through the twisty roads of Hocking Hills County. Here's the planned ride:

Leave LSC chapter meeting, head East on 33;
Turn right on sr374, head into the hills;
Follow 374 all the way to Conkles Hollow;
Turn right onto Big Pine Road, follow it 'till it dead ends on 56;
Turn left on 56, head east;
At stop sign go straight through, onto 664/374 towards Logan;
Remain on sr374 through Ol' Man's Cave and turning right into hills again;
sr374 dead ends onto 56, turn left to 56 east towards Logan;
Turn left onto 93 north, follow it to Logan.

Lunch and fuel stop = Pizza Crossing in Logan (http://www.pizzacrossing.com)
This is a good break off point for anyone, we'll be at 93 & 33.

Those wanting to continue to ride:
Remain on 93 North into Wayne National Forest, towards New Straitsville;
Turn right onto 595 head south to 33;
Turn right onto 33 west, towards Logan
Ice cream stop and end of ride at Hocking Hills Motorcycle Ranch (across the road from the entrance to sr374 where we began).

We'll talk more about the ride at the chapter meeting.

Great ride Aurelio! Hocking Hills is always a beautiful ride. The route was well planed. Sorry Karla & I couldn't finish but we had a great time. Possibly do this ride again in the fall. Colors will be beautiful!

Aurelio,

I agree that was a great route, perfect pace, and of course we had pizza which as you know makes my day.

Why don't you plan on making this a fall ride once the leaves start to change. We could also add on some of 555 to add a little punch.

Check to see what dates are open.

Talk to you all soon.

Rode 555 a couple weeks ago...SWEET!!!  Construction had the top half more or less shut down so we picked it up from SR 78 just southwest of McConnelsville.  Still got a good 30 miles of some of the best rodes I've seen in Ohio.  It may be out of your way but try and take SR 26 (out of Marietta) for your route back home.  It's a beautiful route and will be even better in the fall (and the road is just as twisty as 555).  Hope you decide to ride it and invite me  Grin.  See you all next Saturday for the Hillbilly Hotdog adventure.  Ride safe!

Hey Aurelio.....  that was a job well done!  Great ride, sorry we all "pooped out" on finishing the ride.
Looking forward to a "do-over" in the fall.

A wing isn't an old mans bike, it's a wise mans bike. Often that wisdom comes with age.
